Castel di Lucio is a small village located in the Nebrodi Park.
The history of the village begins in the Norman period when the first center was formed, the ancient Castelluzzo, inhabited by families from Italy mainland and southern France. The village plays a strategic role under the dominion of the Ventimiglias given its natural position of control over the valley of the Tusa river.
Even today the rich history of this village echoes among its streets and monuments.
