The Church of San Salvatore is a rural church located in a splendid panoramic position: it stands on the promontory overlooking the Halaesa and dominates the entire surrounding valley.
In this place, in the past, when the village was afflicted by calamities and diseases, it was customary to carry the statue of the scourged Jesus in procession to obtain the cessation of the evils.
Inside the church, recently restored after a long period of abandonment, there is a modern statue of the Savior by the artist from Mistra Noè Marullo.
A garden with a central sundial was created outside the church.
