Church of the SS. Sacramento in Castel di Lucio
The church of the SS. Sacramento, also known as the Church of San Vincenzo, is located behind the old town hall.
It was built in the 16th century and its distinctive architectural feature is the presence of a dome decorated with frescoes, unique in Castel di Lucio, which makes from the roof to the apse.
Among the noteworthy works kept in the church are: a large and precious painting by Scilla from Messina, representing Christ under the Cross, with Our Lady of Sorrows and Veronica; some 18th century frescoes; a processional crucifix from the 1700s.
