Tholos in Floresta
The Tholos of Floresta, also known as Cùbburi, are domed constructions made of stone once used as a refuge by shepherds.
The Tholos are widespread in much of the Nebrodi Park , and are found in areas intended for grazing.
They have a circular architectural layout, and are made with stone ashlars arranged concentrically, culminating in a pseudo-dome.
