Batolo Palace in Gioiosa Marea
Batolo PAlace in Gioiosa Marea is one of the most important buildings in the town.
It was built in 1933 by the Batolo family, at that time one of the most prominent in the town.
The building, in neoclassical style, is spread over three levels. Numerous balconies overlook the richly decorated façade, surmounted by triangular and oval entablatures.
On the main façade, on the third floor, there is a terrace enclosed by a colonnade, from which every year, on August 10, the Notte di San Lorenzo, a suggestive serenade is played under the stars dedicated to all citizens and tourists present.
