Church of San Sebastiano in Militello Rosmarino
The Church of San Sebastiano in Militello Rosmarino is an ancient building of worship in the village.
It was built in the 16th century.
The simple façade is embellished with a portal with a triumphal arch in red San Marco marble dating back to the beginning of the 18th century.
The interior, with a single nave, houses valuable works: the 17th-century wooden statues of San Cosma and San Damiano; an organ from 1755 by Don Annibale Lo Bianco; a valuable wooden choir; the canvas depicting the Madonna between Saints Sebastiano and Rocco, by Pietro Novelli; the wooden statue of San Sebastiano dating back to 1757; the papier-mâché urn of the Dead Christ, by an unknown artist, dating back to the 17th century.
