Oratory of the SS. Sacramento in Monforte San Giorgio
The Oratory of the SS. Sacramento in Monforte San Giorgio is a place of worship, home of the sixteenth-century Confraternity of the SS. Trinità.
It was built in 1648 by will of the Confraternity, thanks to the funds donated by Don Blasio Cuminale.
The façade has an ashlar portal surmounted by a broken tympanum.
The interior develops on an inscribed octagonal plan in an irregularly shaped wall. On three of the sides there are as many altars: the central one dedicated to Ecce Homo, the one on the right to San Giuseppe, the one on the left to the Madonna del Rosario.
