Workers' Society in Monforte San GIorgio
The building of the Società Operaia di Mutuo Soccorso G. Garibaldi in Monforte San Giorgio is a historic building of the village.
It was built in 1914 and was the headquarters of the workers' society which had as its aim the improvement of economic, intellectual and moral conditions of the members.
The façade has a portal with a round arch, whose keystone features a sculpture in the shape of a lion's protome, flanked by two sandstone pilasters with capitals decorated with acanthus leaves which support a slightly overhanging entablature.
