The Church of San Giovanni Battista in Nizza di Sicilia is the church set on the surrounding walls of the Castle.
It was built in the seventeenth century, after the formation of the two Marines of Roccalumera and Fiumedinisi, for the sole use of the inhabitants of the Fiumedinisi Marina. Among the works kept in the church of particular value is a panel depicting the Madonna with the SS. Peter and Paul dated 1587.
