"La Rocca di Buticari" Park in Nizza di Sicilia

The Suburban Park "Rocca di Buticari" in Nizza di Sicilia is an equipped area located in the hunting grounds of the ancient barons of the city. The park is rich in native plant and fauna species, equipped with picnic areas and enriched by a Land Art work by the international artist Alfio Bonanno.
The Land Art work "Le Sentinelle" is inspired by the nearby Torre Saracena and wants to represent sentinels guarding the traces of the history of Nizza di Sicilia and of the entire island.
