Church of Jesus and Mary in San Marco D'Alunzio
The Church of Jesus and Mary in San Marco d'Alunzio is a sacred building that stands in the noble district of the village.
It was built in 1686 on the remains of the church of Santa Caterina. According to local tradition, the latter was in turn built on the remains of a pagan temple.
The simple gabled façade features a marble portal with simple lines surmounted by a rectangular opening. The interior has a single nave. The church also has a crypt.
