Church of San Giuseppe in San Marco D'Alunzio
The Church of San Giuseppe in San Marco D'Alunzio is one of the buildings of worship in the village.
It was built starting from the 16th century and stands in an enchanting place from which it is possible to enjoy a splendid panorama of the coast Tyrrhenian Sea.
The simple façade made of stone features a Baroque style portal with two columns in red Aluntine marble crowned by two Corinthian capitals.
The interior, with a single nave, has six side chapels.
The building houses the Museum of Sacred Art of San Marco D'alunzio.
Among the works kept in the church, of particular value are: the wooden statue of San Giuseppe dating back to the 17th century and the statue of Baby Jesus. p>
