Fountain in San Marco D'Alunzio
The San Marco Fountain in San Marco D'Alunzio stands along Via Aluntina, at the foot of a staircase in local marble dominated by the altar of the Madonna del Lume.
The fountain, built in 1897, stands in the place where the agora of the city must have been located in ancient times. It is made of local red marble and has a mask from which a jet of water comes out and falls into a small basin.
