The heritage of artistic craftsmanship of the city in the past was spread everywhere in the Mediterranean: the local entrepreneurs used a small fleet that distributed their crockery in every part of the Mediterranean, from the coasts of northern Africa to Sardinia, Liguria and Tuscany, up to to reach the Upper Adriatic.
Among all the handicraft products of the city of Patti, typical exclusively of Pattese production are the pilgrim's water bottles and the plates decorated with the characteristic rooster.
