Museum Observatory of Contemporary Art in Sicily in Bagheria
The Museum Observatory of Contemporary Art in Sicily is a private museum of contemporary art located in Bagheria and founded by Ezio Pagano in 1997.
The museum houses paintings and sculptures by various Sicilian artists, such as Carla Accardi, Pietro Consagra, Piero Guccione, Emilio Isgrò, Augusto Perez, Antonio Sanfilippo, Salvatore Scarpitta, Fosco Maraini, Ferdinando Scianna, Giuseppe Tornatore, Nino Franchina, Enzo Tomasello. It also houses a collection of photographs. Of notable interest are the twenty photographic portraits of the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo by Leo Matiz.
