Villarosa Palace in Bagheria
The Palazzo Villarosa di Bagheria is located on a hill near the slopes of Monte Giancaldo.
It was built in 1763 by Don Placido Notarbartolo, Duke of Villarosa. The first project was modified and implemented by the architect Giuseppe Venanzio Marvuglia.
The building has an imposing façade formed by a portico with neoclassical style columns .
The interior is enriched by wall decorations and precious frescoes in the vaults.
The villa is currently privately owned and is used for receptions, but it can still be visited.
