Ramacca Villa in Bagheria
Villa Ramacca is an eighteenth century residence located at the foot of Mount Catalfano.
It was built by Bernardo Gravina, prince of Ramacca and a relative of the prince of Palagonia. The residence where the Gravina family lived for a long time after the Spanish domination in Sicily, later became a barracks and then a hospital. Believing it to be an infected building, it was abandoned for many years before the arrival of Prince Baldassarre Scaduto who, buying it at auction, restored it, giving it the appearance it has today.
The villa is privately owned and hosts receptions.
