Hermitage of San Felice in Caccamo
The Hermitage of San Felice is a small refuge hidden in the Pizzo Cane, Pizzo Trigna and Grotta Mazzamuto Nature Reserve, which over the years has become a center for meetings and activities thanks to a group of volunteers.
The structure enjoys an extraordinary view which it ranges from the city of Cefalù to that of Caccamo.
The complex of the Hermitage of San Felice is made up of an apsidal chapel, a rectory with a living area on the ground floor and an attic in a single sleeping area, with bunk beds.
The hermitage, together with the summer residence of the Marquises Artale, known as casina, is the oldest site in the entire Reserve. Numerous hiking trails start from the Hermitage, allowing you to explore the Reserve.
