Church of San Giacomo in Ciminna
The Church of San Giacomo in Ciminna is a former Jewish synagogue. The Jewish community lived in Ciminna until 1493, the year in which Queen Isabella of Spain issued the edict of expulsion of all Jews from Sicily.
The date of construction of the church is not known, it is known that it certainly existed in the 16th century.
The simple gabled façade features a valuable pointed arch portal in white stone ashlars surmounted by a circular window in red brick.
