Church of San Giuseppe in Ciminna
The Church of San Giuseppe in Ciminna is an ancient place of worship in the village.
The date of construction of the church is not known but it is certain that it already existed at the end of the 15th century, as evidenced by some documents. The foundation of the brotherhood of San Giuseppe dates back to the same era. The annexed Collegio di Maria was built in 1733, at the behest of Baron Spatafora, and the church was subsequently remodelled, decorated and embellished.
Inside there is the valuable statue of San Giuseppe, a work by Bagnasco.
