Church of San Sebastiano in Ciminna
The Church of San Sebastiano in Ciminna is a small building of worship in the village. It stands in the highest part of the town and gives its name to the neighborhood of the same name.
The date of construction is not known, it is certain that the sacred building existed since the 16th century. In ancient times the building consisted of three naves, but in 1808 the rectors granted the two side naves which were transformed into homes.
The simple gabled façade has a single portal surmounted by a rectangular window and is delimited laterally by two parastras surmounted by a slightly overhanging tyman.
Inside there are works dating back to between the 16th and 19th centuries.
