Church of Sant'Antonio Abate in Ciminna
The Church of Sant'Antonio Abate in Ciminna is an ancient and large extra-urban church. The church is closed to the public due to the poor state of conservation.
The date of construction of the church is not known, it is certain that it already existed in the 16th century.
On the facade of particular value are the remains of the bell tower of majolica.
The interior, divided into three naves, has paintings on the walls representing some episodes of the saint's life. These paintings were painted, as per tradition, by a fugitive, at a time when churches were asylums impenetrable to justice.
