Church of Santa Lucia in Ciminna
The Church of Santa Lucia in Ciminna, formerly the Church of S. Maria di Porta S. Gerardo, is one of the oldest places of worship in the village.
The date of construction of the church is not known but it is believed that it existed in the fifteenth century. Some documents date back to this period in which the brothers of the church granted its use to the Rev. P. Giovanni de Prioris, guardian of the Conventual Minors.
The simple gabled façade is delimited by two lateral parastras in stone ashlars. In a central position there is a portal surmounted by a rectangular window.
The interior, with a single nave, features a fresco dating back to the 17th century.
Some works by G. De Battista are kept inside. p>
