Church of Santa Maria di Porto Salvo in Corleone
The Church of Santa Maria di Porto Salvo in Corleone is among the oldest religious buildings in the city.
It is believed that the building may date back to 1500. In 1968 the Belice Valley earthquake caused huge amounts of damage to the point that it was rendered unusable.
The façade has two large windows which highlight the building from the adjacent houses.
The interior decorations date back to 1750 and are in classic baroque style.
