Church of San Francesco di Paola
The Church of San Francesco di Paola in Corleone is a small religious building located a few steps from the Town Hall square.
It was built in 1660 by order of Vincenzo Terranova and became the seat of the brotherhood of the Gissari masters , the plaster workers. The stone façade features a valuable bell tower with an eighteenth-century ceramic dome.
The interior with a single nave features fine Sicilian majolica flooring. The seventeenth-century wooden statue of San Francesco di Paola, which belonged to the Gissari brotherhood, is today kept in the Mother Church.
