Bentivegna Palace in Corleone
Palazzo Bentivegna in Corleone is known because it hosted Garibaldi during his visit to Corleone: on 10 July 1862 Garibaldi, looking out from the balcony of the palace, made a long speech to gather support for his undertaking with the motto "O Rome or death" and remembered the Corleonese hero Francesco Bentivegna who died after being shot after participating in the 1848 uprisings and leading the anti-Bourbon insurrection. A marble plaque placed on the facade of the building commemorates this event.
The neoclassical style building is striking for the presence of two terracotta busts that look out from the attic wall.
