District of Ciambra
The Historic District of Ciambra in Monreale, a few steps from the Duomo, is the district where the artists and workers who took part in the construction of the Duomo lived. the scenographic gold basin and consists of narrow cobbled alleys and stone houses.
Today the district is called Ciambr'Art because, due to the massive presence of shops displaying colorful artisan productions typical of the place, it looks like an open-air art gallery.
