Majolica Museum in Palermo
The Museum of Majolica Stanze al Genio presents a collection of almost 5000 exhibits and is one of the largest collections open to the public in all of Europe.
The exhibition brings together Sicilian majolica tiles and bells made between the 15th and 20th centuries. Each room has period and contemporary furnishings as well as old toys, tin boxes, period stationery and vintage objects.
The museum owes its name to the nearby fountain of the Genius located in Piazza Revolution.
