Piazza Duomo Fountain in Partinico
The Fountain of Piazza Duomo can be considered the symbol of Partinico and is known as " funtana ri l'otto cannola ", due to the number of spouts from which a very fresh water comes out.
This monument is made of sculpted marble and has soft and sinuous lines in Baroque style and on the top we find the coat of arms of the mayor Giuseppe de Francisco, or the baron of the palace. It was built in 1716 by Cardinal Acquaviva, abbot of S. Maria di Altofonte; but in 1824, the baron of the palace, mayor of Partinico, placed it in Piazza Duomo
