Museum of the College of Maria in Piana degli Albanesi
The Museum of the Collegio di Maria in Piana degli Albanesi represents the richest permanent exhibition of sacred vestments of the Byzantine rite of the entire Eparchy. This exhibition was created in the fifties by the will of Sister Maria Pia Caronna who had the intuition to allocate a room of the College to guard this treasure. Frontals, sacred vestments, silver, sacred wax plastics and an important collection of icons make this exhibition truly unmissable.
