Madonna delle Grazie Church in Vicari
The Church of the Madonna delle Grazie in Vicari is an ancient and valuable building of worship in the village.
It was built around the second half of the 16th century. In 1891 it became the seat of the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament.
The simple gabled façade, in stone, has no significant architectural elements. Of particular value is the majestic bell tower located in the rear part of the building.
The interior, small in size, has a single nave with chapels in the surrounding walls.
Of particular value are the statues kept inside interior: the statue of the Madonna Addolorata attributed to Bagnasco; the statue of Santa Domenica in white marble by the sculptor Jacobus Tarsia of Naples; the statue of San Michele Arcangelo dating back to the end of the 17th century; the Crucifix of fine late Renaissance workmanship.
