Church of San Francesco in Vicari
The Church of San Francesco a Vicari, together with the adjoining convent, constitute an important monumental complex of the village.
The church was opened for worship in 1777 as recorded by the plaques on the sides of the main entrance.
The façade of the entire complex was originally made of rough stone, which was later covered with plaster. It is divided into three parts by pilasters and has two towers on the sides, one of which houses the bell tower.
The interior is divided into three naves and has a barrel vaulted roof with lunettes.
Of particular value is the high altar composed of a hand-carved frieze with the statue of San Francesco.
The monastery is now home to the Carabinieri barracks.
