The Oil Museum in Chiaramonte Gulfi exhibits tools of olive oil extraction technology.
There are numerous instruments for measuring oil, utensils and various furnishings: tin jars; quartering with two lateral handles; oil cruets; an iron hoe; an iron plow with a pointed share and a wooden plow with an iron share; vintage corbels; baskets; iron scissors for pruning; hacksaws and hand drill.
Of particular value are a press from 1614, a large stone grindstone, and a hydromechanical press from the early twentieth century.
