San Giovanni Square in Monterosso Almo
Piazza San Giovanni, locally called "u chianu", or "the plan", is the main square of the village of Monterosso Almo. The splendid baroque church of San Giovanni Battista overlooks the face. On the same square there are several neocalstic-style buildings, such as the seventeenth-century Palazzo dei Baroni Noto, Palazzo Cocuzza, Palazzo Sardo, the Town Hall and the church, now deconsecrated, of Sant'Anna.
