Kaukana Archaeological Park
The Archaeological Park of Cacuana , a seaside resort near Punta Secca, preserves the remains of the past of this locality where the survivors of the last and definitive destruction took refuge in 258 BC & nbsp; for the work of the Romans, from the Greek colony of Kamarina.
The archaeological park protects the beach of the " promenade of antiquities " on which the remains of the houses of the ancient settlement stretch out, clinging to the ridge.
The archaeological park, during the summer, hosts cultural events and demonstrations .
