Bonelli Patané Palace a Scicli
Palazzo Bonelli-Patanè di Scicli is one of the most important upper middle-class residences in the Ragusa area.
The building has a Neo-Renaissance style façade, whose simplicity contrasts with the liberty style of the interiors, rich of stuccos, precious furniture and paintings, made between 1928 and 1938 by Raffaele Scalia, commissioned first by Ignazio Bonelli and then by the spouses Francesco Bonelli and Raffaella Papaleo.
All the rooms of the palace obey an iconological program that intends to enhance the splendor of the family and its wealth.
