Gibellina Town Hall
The Town Hall of Gibellina was designed and built in 1972 by Alberto Samonà, Giuseppe Samonà and Vittorio Gregotti, three great Italian architects and urban planners. The building is located in piazza 15 gennaio and consists of two bodies arranged in an L shape: the main one that houses the council chamber and presents itself with a calibrated play of solids and voids, of lights and shadows, and the second body intended for to service areas, distributed along a corridor.
Of particular interest is the mosaic by Gino Severini located inside the Agorà room.
