Civic Museum of Prehistory of Basso Belìce
The Civic Museum of Prehistory of Basso Belìce, located in the premises of the Grifeo Castle of Partanna, exhibits finds from the excavation campaigns conducted since the 1980s on the Contrada site Strait, known for the discovery of Neolithic ditches and from the necropolis of the Belicino area, with cave and chamber tombs, dated to the Middle and Late Bronze Age. Among the works exhibited, of particular value are different types of prehistoric ceramics, vases of the Naro – Partanna style and of the Campaniforme. The exhibition itinerary is accompanied by didactic - explanatory panels.
