Belice Observatory in Salaparuta
The Belice Observatory in Salaparuta is a large building designed by architects Antonello Sotgia and Giuseppe Cangemi. It was built to contain the reconstruction projects of public works in the towns of the Valle del Belice.
The building is characterized by the presence of a grid of square windows that open onto the walls, in the middle part of the façade it has a entrance marked by four long openings, flanked by two angular bodies, open with columns, like the propylaea. A significant element is the large and robust broken cornice which crowns the building.
