Church of San Cristoforo in Francofonte
The Church of San Cristoforo in Francofonte is one of the sacred buildings of the city.
Its construction dates back to the 1700s and became necessary given the progressive expansion of the town towards the east. Probably after 1940 the building was closed for worship and is now owned by the municipality.
The church. small in size, it has a facade delimited at the corners by a pair of Tuscan pilasters. In the upper part there is a small belfry, with an arch in the middle, the block constituting the key of the latter collapsed during the 1990 earthquake. On the north side there are two lunette windows.
