Palazzo Requisenz or Palazzo Requesens is the most important civil building in the city of Solarino.
It was built in 1758 at the behest of Don Giuseppe Antonio Requisenz, Prince of Pantelleria, Count of Buscemi and Baron of Solarino, and was used as a residence campaign of the masters of the Solarino feud.
The building was built using limestone material from the quarries in the Maltese area and is characterized by its long facade, the chromatic combination of materials, its simple decorations and the rigorous geometry of the layout, fundamental characteristics of Catalan art, of which Palazzo Requisenz represents the unique example in Sicily.
