Cittadella dei Maccari Beach

The Beach of Cittadella dei Maccari is located at the extreme southern tip of the Vendicari Nature Reserve .
The beach, of fine sand, is washed by a clean and limpid sea and, behind it, the Mediterranean scrub extends.
The final part of the beach is not accessible because it is a place dedicated to the reproduction of Caretta Caretta sea turtles that nest between the beach of the Cittadella and the beach of San Lorenzo.
The archaeological site of Cittadella is located not far from the San Lorenzo Beach.
