Valley of the Plane Trees in Antillo
Antillo (ME)
The Valle dei Platani di Antillo is located in the upper part of the Val D'Agrò, along the valley of the Sperone stream and the Fonderia stream, on the slopes of the highest peak of the Peloritani Mountains: Montagna Grande.
The valley is so called because the abundant presence of the oriental plane tree which grows forming large riparian forests of great charm along the valleys of the streams.
Inside the valley there is the "Castagna" equipped area with a a picnic area and a spring that forms small pools (GPS coordinates of the equipped area)
