Ruggia Water Fountain in Casalvecchio Siculo
The Acqua Ruggia Fountain in Casalvecchio Siculo is one of the village fountains, testimony to the richness of water in this area. According to tradition, Count Roger II quenched his thirst in this fountain, hence the name Ruggia.
The fountain is decorated with artistic ceramic tiles depicting scenes of peasant life and the image of Patron Saint of Borgo Sant'Onofrio.
