  Rotabile Castelmola - Castelmola (ME)

The Roman Wells are ancient cisterns for the collection of water built by Andromachus in 367 BC, to improve the living conditions of the first settlement in Piano delle Ficare, the ancient Myle. In ancient times these cisterns were called stagnuni and there were about thirty scattered throughout the territory. Today there are three still intact and one semi-destroyed.
