Crisafulli House in Forza D'Agrò
Casa Crisafulli in Forza D'Agrò is an ancient house located in the square of the Duomo.
It was built in the 18th century by the Crisafulli family. Today the house belongs to the Gussio family of Sant'Alessio Siculo.
The building is characterized by its rounded wrought iron balconies with iron curtain holders and iron pot holder circles. The balcony on the first floor has classic sandstone corbels, while the second floor has curvilinear wrought iron corbels, an unusual detail in Forza architecture. Another peculiarity of the building is the fact that the small doors on the ground floor have traditional sandstone arches, while those on the first floor have a segmental arch.
