Teocle Statue in Giardini Naxos

The Statue of Teocles is located along the seafront of Giardini Naxos and depicts Teocles, a citizen of Chalcis Euboea, who according to legend was the first Greek to land in Schisò in 735 BC and to found Naxos. The statue was made by the master Turi Azzolina.
