Church of San Giuseppe in Graniti
The Church of San Giuseppe a Graniti is one of the three buildings of worship in the village.
It was built in the second decade of the last century in the place where the ancient church of the same name stood.
The façade, made with blocks of Syracuse stone, has three portals, a larger central one and two lateral ones, flanked by thin columns. The main portal is connected to the street level with a basalt staircase.
The interior, with a single nave, has a finely inlaid wooden high altar, of fine workmanship, the work of a Capuchin friar.
Next to the Church stands the Antoniano Orphanage run by the Capuchin nuns of the Sacred Heart.
