Pine Forest in Graniti
The Graniti Pine Forest is located on the outskirts of the town and has an area of 34 hectares.
Following a landslide which occurred in 1880 from Mount Pietra del Corvo which reached the outskirts of the town, a program of afforestation. In 1980 the Graniti pine forest was completed and today has numerous specimens of stone pine, maritime pine and Aleppo pine. In 1950 it was acquired by the municipality of Graniti, forming an urban park.
