The Antico Frantoio di Motta Camastra is one of the oldest oil mills in Sicily. According to the most accredited hypothesis, its construction dates back to the seventeenth century. Today the oil mill is the seat of the Institute for Sicilian culture. The small museum houses artifacts of peasant civilization and handicrafts. In particular, you can admire a rare collection of ancient weights dating back to the Bourbon era of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies.
